Miss L Fire was launched in February 2005 by former Clarks Designer & OFFICE Buying Director Lynsey Hand.
Lynsey’s concept for Miss L Fire was to combine her knowledge of making shoes comfortable with her love for vintage-inspired fashion. For good measure, Lynsey then added a dash of her own personal style, and Miss L Fire was born.
The brand celebrated fashion’s perpetual love for vintage, revisiting those past decades, from the 20s to the 80s, which continue to inspire the trends of today.
We were never a stitch for stitch reproduction brand – we took elements from vintage and married them with modern trends, items we found at flea markets, and our own original ideas to make our unique, detailed, high quality, covetable, and wildly comfortable shoes.
Over our 17 year history, we made (and sold) hundreds of thousands of pairs, with no over-runs, and nothing going to landfill. Our shoes were worn, and continue to be worn by countless celebrities, but more importantly, by thousands of wonderful, unique and individual women.
Our aim was always to produce shoes which would last and could be passed on as heirloom pieces. We feel we achieved this goal.
Shoes aside, Miss L Fire was always, first and foremost, about people. You, our beloved customer was always at the forefront of everything we did and may still do.
On this, our online ‘L Fire Museum’ , we share our shoes, and our story.
And here, on this page, we have shared our favourite team memories from almost two decades of work, fun and shoes.
